C/I Programs

If the energy program information is provided as part of TAO for Energy Codes, the information provided might be a single screen, describing the programs available and providing a link to the utility site. Users might be asked to provide additional information about their project to allow us to show the relevant programs.

If implemented as a full course the module will describe the program and its benefits, what is required to participate, how to apply, and what to expect of the process. Modules from TAO for Energy Efficient Design can be incorporated.

DAYLIGHTING SYSTEMS

Daylighting has a major impact on a building's functionality from many perspectives — not only on energy costs associated with illumination and space conditioning, but it also may enhance the building's comfort, ambience, and the effectiveness and productivity of its occupants. EnergyCo encourages use of daylighting in design through the Daylighting Systems Incentive program.

Here you can learn about the eligibility requirements, how incentives are calculated, and how to participate in the program. To learn more about designing with daylighting systems, visit our lesson on Daylighting.

Eligibility

Systems incorporating sidelighting from windows and toplighting from skylights are both eligible for incentives.

For sidelighting, glazing must have a minimum Performance Index of 1.28.
